Nice, extremely catchy symphonic metal album with very good rhythm-work, beautiful singing and well-thought-out orchestral and choir pieces to accompany it. Definitely worth to give a listen.

NEVER OBEY AGAIN is one of the most exciting newcomers in the field of Lacuna Coil, Evanescence or other modern female fronted metal bands. Actually, there is nothing original in "The End of an Era", but with such a great, passionate singer and a talent for catchy songwriting, well balanced between heaviness and emotional parts, that's absolutely fine. Even the "Zombie" cover is well performed, so if you like the mentioned style or references, this debut is simply a must.
